Free parking and they have a restaurant and a bar attached to the motel. Heat was turned off so they gave me a little electric heater for the evening. Back door of the bar was left open so you can hear all the commotion coming out to the rooms until about 2 in the morning. Being polite the rooms were very very vintage. Service in the bar and the restaurant were okay.
This is the worst motel that I have ever been. You can listen the other room perfectly, it is very dirty, old, smell so bad and the WiFi and the laundromat doesnt work. I recommend you not to stay here.
Very easy stop on the main road through Haines Junction, Yukon. Stayed off season which provided a super reasonable rate. The room was quaint and cozy. Bathroom was accommodating. A major plus was the exterior outlets for plugging in the engine block heater on the vehicle. Had dinner at the bar, selected from a pretty good menu and a great selection of beer and spirits. The company at the bar was a fantastic bunch. As a traveller, it was a nice experience with some great folks!
Older motel. Very quaint, but loved the lavender sink and tub! Good food, great bartender makes an amazing Hot Toddy!
You really cant beat the views this place has. Right off the Alaska Highway, cheap rates, cheap beer/wine prices, views that National Geographic would be envious of! Top it off with great customer service and a very friendly wait staff. A much needed visit or stop on your way to or from Alaska.
