2 o'clock Sunday afternoon: after placing our order for a late lunch of a plain hamburger and fries and a BLT Wrap we waited for 45 minutes and received a cold burger and a a wrap filled with 2 slices of bacon, 2 small slices of tomato and an equally small amount of lettuce in a 12 inch wrap
Food wasn't that good, burger tastes like a premade patty from the freezer section and had no indication that the bun was seasoned on a plainer burger (even after asking what came on it).
Great Ruben sandwiches and grill cheese, not a burger eater so can't say on those but the shakes are excellent too
On this visit, I found Frosty's restaurant as a welcome after an 9 hour drive. As you walk up the steps, you are greeted by a counter with large glass separating the kitchen area from customers. The young lady taking our order was nice and courteous. All food orders are placed outside the restaurant and you have the option to eat on the outside patio or dine inside. We ordered a deluxe cheese burger, a mushroom Swiss burger and a turkey sandwich. We chose to eat inside since the temperature was about 50 degrees F. The inside dining area was simple, clean and had a basic atmosphere with 80s music playing in the background. My order arrived about 10 minutes later. The burger was hot off the grill and the fries were crisp and too hot to start eating right away. All vegetables were cool and the buns were soft and warm. I mark down Frosty's to 3 stars because of value. This place asks for a premium price for their entrees; as they believe it is worth it.
We had a couple of deluxe cheeseburgers, some poutine and onion rings, an Oreo Frosty and a vanilla milkshake. The food was all delicious and the service was stellar. 5 stars all the way!
